Summer Enrichment
Dear Parents,
Thank you for all of your support this year. Please continue to encourage your child to read and write this summer. Your children would also benefit from practicing their math skills throughout the summer. Just because the school year has ended, doesn’t mean that the learning has to stop. Students who don’t continue to read over the summer are likely to lose ground. Studies show that students participating in a summer reading program are more likely to read at their grade level or above than their nonparticipating peers, and those reading above grade level are more likely to retain those skills into the next school year. I have attached some summer review packet files below that your child can work on during the summer. In an effort to “go green”, I put the packets online this year.
